Fan Club 101

All Righty Then!  Since I am stubborn.....and not about to let internet protocols kick my ass, I spent my off time trying to figure out this Fan Club thing.  Actually I was at work, but things were slow, and so, I basically goofed off for the day. 

Anywhoooo, for those who might sign up for the fanclubs, I found one crucial step which seemed to make the difference for me.  When you first sign up with CCBILL, they will confirm the transaction and send you a link......which if you aren't paying attention will seem like the same fan club link you were just on.  But it isn't.......the link is ======>  http://www.snrproductions.com/guys/choose.htm

There you click on the site where you initially got access to the fan club.  Not sure exactly why this makes a difference, but it did for me, and if you don't go to that link above and make that selection, the fan club may not link correctly to your account name.

So, now, I am able to get into the fan club page, and the links to the two sample videos do work.  There is one thing that remains, and that is the recorded shows.  Kevin mentioned that he has a bunch loaded on there, but when I click on "Recorded Shows", it says that none are loaded.

I am thinking that Kevin has access to a special admin page since he is a model, and that he has loaded vids there, but they haven't been migrated to the actual fan club page that members can see.  So, I am thinking that the programmers and Kevin just need to chat and figure out the right way to load the recorded shows.  Other than that, I think the rest is working, though I don't think any photos have been loaded yet.

Oh, almost forgot.  I wanted to thank Steve for working on this, Ashley for responding to my whining posts on the support site, Tommy for responding to my whining in the veteran forums, and Angie and Lefty for being Angie and Lefty.  Also, thanks to my agent, my producer, and all the little people who made this post possible.   Ok, ok, I'll stop

I have 319 "recorded" shows in my fan club and they are all defaulted as "show" which i thought meant someone who is signed up for my fan club would be able to access them.

There is an option to "hide" them but none of mine are hidden.  Is there anything else I need to do so my fan club members can access these?

Okay when i click "hide" on a video then click "visable only" it shows the video I flagged to hide and when I click on "Hidden only" it shows all my videos that are flagged as "show"

So I think these need to be reversed somehow by the programmer

Oh haha Kevin, they are hidden by default so you can choose which ones you want up.  If you want them up click on show.  Then the link will change to hide so you can switch it back if you want.

Oh also Lat, you really don't have to use that continue link.  You could just type in icguys.com on the ccbill page to get back there and it'll do the same thing.  There's no additional coding on the continue page but I'm glad ya finally got it working!

The big draw are the recorded show archives but it's just an extra place to go if you're really into one of the guys and want more from them.

Hey Chip,

You might want to send Latin Tony a PM through here to see if he has added anything yet.  I know some of the guys were waiting to make sure all the bugs were worked out, so it might just be that he hasn't turned on any of his video sets yet.  If he doesn't seem to be around, you might ask if Angie can help find him.......she's in Charge of Charginess ya know

I'm trying to look at Marc's fan club but every time I try to click on the pictures its brings me to the chat log on page and tells me to add credits, I cant figure out how to actually sign up for it! Can you help me!!!!!
