First I want to say that I hope you’ve all had a great Christmas, and that you didn’t all over do it too much. I’ve had a great holiday but definitely drank too much and appreciated a little more chocolate than I had planned to. So I guess I will be doubling up on my gym time in the new year and battling the increasing waistline when it hits. I give myself a week before I’m looking in the mirror and noticing a “jiggle” lol

Now for some reason I can’t see some pics posted by Jaxsen in the forum, but from what I gather by the responses, he was given a “personal pump” and an “inflatable companion” this Christmas.

I got some socks, a new keyboard, a smart TV and a collection of branded pint glasses amongst my gifts. I think my friends and family might just be a little too practical! lol

Now, although they are novelty gifts, or presents with some comedic value, most men would have been testing out a pump that very night. Come on, you know you would! You can’t be given a toy like that, even as a joke gift, and possibly resist trying it just for fun! lol

So after the other day when I told you that story about the guy on cam who was attacked by his cat, I had a call from one of my buddies who comes here and checks out the site. He had another one to tell me that he swears is true. Personally, I don’t know if it’s just one of those stories, but it was still pretty funny.

So this guy is on his cam, putting on a show for a chick he’s been talking to on the net for a while. He’s really getting into it and even starts experimenting with a dildo at her request when the front door of his place bursts open and twenty officers from the local police department rush in. Seems he was suspected of drug dealing.

Yeah, there were apparently even shouts of “put down the weapon!” lol

At least they didn’t have to worry too much about the full body search!

I guess karma played its part in that too, because his wife had to leave work to go and bail him out. I wonder what story he gave her, and if he had to claim his dildo back?

Anyway, I was just checking to see if there were any more pics of the hot ripped cam guy Blake, and I thought I’d add these two to the mix after my last post about him back in June. I love the pics of boys in briefs. Although he’d look far better without them

I was checking out the cam guys this afternoon and something ocurred to me… Almost all of the guys are shaved and smooth. There’s not really any dude here who lets the hairy chest break out is there?

Don’t get me wrong I totally understand that guys with hot muscled bodies want to show them off and the fur can often get in the way. But I think a lot of guys actually like the slightly hairy look. I know I do, and I’m pretty sure a lot of guys here feel the same way. I could be wrong of course!

I’m not talking gorilla fur, but just a little short fuzz. That is still considered hot right? lol

I admire the guys that maintain a smooth look though. I know how much effort that takes – one of my bodybuilding buddies recently had a total waxing so I know how painful that can be, and how uncomfortable it is when it all starts to grow back again too!

I don’t have much of a need to shave, apart from the balls of course. But that means I’m very familiar with the re-growth itch!

So guys, anyone want to share their opinion? Is it still hot to have a little fur, and if it is will you always shave all of yours off regardless? Inquiring minds want to know!

And yes, I know it’s an odd post, but it is a Sunday after all!

So one of my buddies sent me a link this morning to a site that had me on the floor, laughing my ass off. It was all about some cam sessions that went wrong. While a few of them had just the story, some of them had the videos to go with them. I wish I could share the link, but the site is actually coming up with a warning right now. But I can tell you one that had me almost crying with laughter!

It actually made me feel better about accidentally dropping my cam in my fish tank.

So one of the best ones – and one that actually made me cry out in pain too -  was a really hot cam guy who was getting it on with his girlfriend over the net. He was putting on a really hot show, oiling himself up and gyrating around. And as soon as I mention the cat walking across the desk you know what’s coming, right?

Yeah, he moves in to get the cat out of the way, startles it with his big boner (it really was self defense, he could have taken the cats eye out!) and the cat attacked. But it wasn’t just a swipe, for a second a claw was stuck! Oowwww!

The crazy dancing and hopping around after that was a sight, let me tell you! Thankfully none of the hot cam guys here have had that happen to them, at least not as far as I am aware.

You know, while I’m not a pro cam hunk like the guys we have here, I do get on the cam myself sometimes and strut my stuff (see, the fact that I just used that term shows how lame I am!)

And although I have a Mac with a built in cam that really is pretty cool, you kind of need one that you can move around. So I bought a USB cam a while ago and use that to chat to some guys I know out there. But, of course, there is a down side to having an external cam. The main one is that you often need to balance it and find ways of securing it into a good position.

Last night I was chatting to this really hot guy I know in California, and my little (and expensive!) cam was balanced on a shelf. Everything was in place, and we were totally getting into it, having a great time. I turned around briefly and heard one of the most horrid sounds a tech geek like me could hear – splash!

Yeah, let this be a lesson to you, don’t balance your camera on a shelf above an aquarium!

My buddy swears that for about a second he saw fishes looking into the lens and greeting their sudden arrival, then it went black. lol

I guess this post is good for making sure you all think about where you put that cam and what you do to it. It’s also a really good idea to have a backup ready to go, just in case you’re an idiot like I am. Oh, I miss my cam already

Don’t get me wrong, I love animals. I could entertain myself for months with a cat and a laser pointer. And indeed I have been known to knock myself out with laughter when I’ve had the opportunity to combine the two! I love dogs, and I have one myself. He’s a dopey animal who seems to think he’s a mountain Goat, climbing all over the furniture. I often get in to find him standing on the dining room table.

But turning on a cam to chat with a guy and being introduced to Spot is not exactly exciting or titillating. Yeah, we get it, he’s like your baby. You’ll be getting out the photo album next and showing us pictures of when you got Mr. Buggles and brought him home.

The thing is, while it might seem harsh, most of us don’t care! lol

It’s like calling your friend thousands of miles away and having to talk to their three month old baby for ten minutes while they monitor the kids face for any sign of recognition or sudden epiphany. The kid doesn’t get that they are hearing the voice of someone on the other side of the planet. Just like them, the dog doesn’t get that his image is being beamed into the bedroom of a dude who wants to see you putting on a show. lol

Where did this post come from? A guy I was on cam with last night (not on Cam With Him I must add) insisted that I “talk” to his puppy while he went to get a beer. It’s a good thing the guy is seriously hot!

Okay, so when I saw this webcam image of a dude in drag I knew it had to be high on my list of things you don’t want to be seeing when you bring up that cam screen! I know, there are plenty of us out there who love a little performance now and then, and I have been known to get jiggy wit it to a drag artist impersonating Cher, but I cannot imagine any of our cam boys doing this in a show, can you?
Actually, there might be one or two of our cam dudes who would find it hilarious to appear on cam like that, even if it’s just to freak out their audience a little

Having said that, are there any cams out there of drag artists? Believe me I know there are plenty of transexual cammers (Google is sometimes NOT your friend!) but any drag performers putting on a show? Hmm, interesting niche business opportunity perhaps lol

So I guess the moral of the story is… be careful, it really is a jungle out there!

P.S. No offence is intended to any guys reading this who might love to dress up and put on a show. And if you’re one of our hot cam guys thinking of doing this, please let me know and get some pics too

Something many guys completely forget about when it comes to camming with people around the world is the audio quality. You want to be able to communicate while you’re watching each other don’t you? Now, nothing can really be done about the quality of the line from one side of the planet to the other, those pesky aliens attacking a satellite signal and wales scratching themselves against those ocean cables cannot be avoided (or so I’m told) but you can certainly make it better than sounding like you’re talking through string and cups.

Don’t Sound Like a Dalek

Yes, you might sound like Cheryl Cole after several shots of Whiskey, and there’s nothing we can do about you being lost in translation when you’re talking to someone who’s never heard your bizarre accent before, but plenty already have the problem of sounding like they’re trapped in a well or talking through a didgeridoo (y’know, those Native Australian instruments that sound like a swarm of bees about to attack.)

The main thing – and I cannot stress this enough – is to do away with any “built in” audio. The mic that comes with a camera is invariably useless unless you’re planning to give your audience a dental show; they just don’t pick up things more than a couple of feet away. And any mic built into the screen is probably going to be worse. The best option is to go down the Madonna route and buy an ear-piece with a mic built in. That way the distance between your mouth and the receiver is shorter and allows for less loss of definition, it’s immediately turned into electronic signals and maintains that integrity for longer.

Yes, the Madonna/Gaga option below is probably going too far, but you can buy reasonably priced and far more subtle head sets these days which will certainly do the job far more effectively than the standard built-in mics.

What would a cam site like this be without some useful advice now and then on being the best you can be on cam? You might be here to watch the guys, but chances are good that if you like watching cams you like broadcasting too. But, like my headless cam guy post before, there are certain things that every guy needs to avoid. So here I am starting a series offering some tips…

Set The Stage

Your room is a stage on which you are performing. So consider what might or might not be appropriate. Add and remove things as you see fit. Do guys really want to see your collection of Babylon 5 memorabilia? What does that dildo on the bedside table say about you? Should your beloved teddy bear be in frame?

You don’t need to go totally anal about it (steady on), so changing the wallpaper and moving furniture is probably going too far. But it’s always good to check the view before you invite folks into your room. That is effectively what you are doing after all.

Check out this webcam view below and ask yourself, are people going to be more interested in you or the complete mess of chaos surrounding you? You really don’t want people stopping you mid flow and asking “Is that a limited edition Sheldon Cooper doll on top of that stack of Playboy magazines?”

Some pics you look at and have to say to yourself WTF? And you definitely wouldn’t be wanting or expecting this when you bring up that cam screen.

You know there must be a story behind it, but you have no idea what story could be. And this chick is definitely one of those cases. What the hell is going on? Did she fall down and land face-first in her makeup bag? Is there some sort of face-paint fetishist she’s getting into it with out there? Or did she really just spend an hour painting herself just so she could show off her arty skills to whoever is out there watching?

In fact, I don’t think I want to know. It’s probably something freaky anyway. Most people don’t use their cams for anything other than getting kinky with other people, and I can’t see how this would be a turn-on for anyone out there.

So well done young lady, you’re the wierdest pussy on cam, whoever you are. Oh, wait, I think I get it.
