I’ve decided since it’s been 8 years with pretty much no change whatsoever, Guys With Cams needed a new identity now that it has moved to Cam With Him. So now, Guys With Cams is the main home (or hub some may say) for all of our network webcam guy sites. It lists all of our cam guy sites with explanations and stats. I stil left up all of the old site since there was so much content and I don’t want to upset anyone.

Free Galleries

If you came here looking for camguys.net, please be patient. We’re going to move hosts once again shortly (probably to a foreign one this time). We may have to keep it up until we can invalidate a trademark by Z Productions, Inc. They keep threatening to sue my hosts because camguys.net exists and because they registered the trademark “the cam guys”, I’m apparently not allowed to use the camguys.net domain. Now, if you’ve been following our site since 2002, you would know that we used the term “cam guys” since the start of guyswithcams.com. See some examples below:

The term “cam guys” is on almost every single page on guyswithcams.com.

As you can see, we’ve been using the term “cam guys” since 2002. I remember talking with someone from strengthnet.com who said Z Productions, Inc. copied a lot of things they did back in 2004. Boy was he right. When Chris Wescott and Mike Downs (owners of Z Productions, Inc.) saw guyswithcams.com thriving, they found what software we used, decided to copy it as well as our concept and called it thecamguys.com. Now they’re trying to say I’m not allowed to use the word “cam guys” even though 1) I’ve been using the term long before they have 2) It’s a very broad term 3) There is no “The” in the names I’m using and 4) I’m in no way, shape, or form leading people on to think it is their product.

To say that the term “cam guys” is a trademark is quite ridiculous. It’s like saying you can copyright any common phrase and no one else can use it. Do Chris and Mike really own the internet?

edit: I also wanted to add that I was very unsatisfied with how RackSpace, my hosting provider for camguys.net, handled this situation. I used to have a lot of respect for them back when I hosted with them in the past but they just lost it all. I just wanted to throw that out there since I feel that I was wronged by them.

Hey guys, just wanted to fill you guys in on our new feature we will be adding to the site. We are going to be integrating some outside model sites with camwithhim’s chat room so you’ll be able to see some extra bonus chats thrown in with our regularly scheduled shows. We’re testing it out with Michael Fitt from MichaelFitt.com tomorrow at 9 PM est. You’ll not only see camwithhim members in the chat room, but members from his site will also join in on the fun!

I actually wasn’t planning on launching this feature for at least a month or so but Michael came to us and needed a chat room solution for his website so I figured it’d be a perfect opportunity to let him be the guinea pig

Hi guys, just wanted you to know that fan clubs are now on icguys.com. We are adding them here but our guys are also on icguys.com so it’s basically just a layout difference. Anyhow, here’s a short FAQ about fan clubs…

1. What’s a fan club?
A fan club is an individual model section, where they can offer some or all of the following: photos, videos, journals, and recorded private chat archives.

2. How do I access a model’s fan club?
First, click on a model’s profile and click the fan club link once inside (if they have one). Then, click on the join button inside of the preview fan club page of the model you’d like to join. Once you’ve made your purchase, just return to that model’s preview fan club page and you will be granted access to all of her content.

3. What’s it gonna cost me?
Each model can set their own rates, so it will vary from model to model. Access is granted on a monthly basis so if you’d like to continue to access your favorite model’s fan club, just join and that’s it. If you’d like to stop viewing a model’s fan club, you may cancel here.

4. Does every model have a fan club?
No, not every model will have a fan club.

5. Will every model have similar types and amounts of content?
No, models can upload as much or as little content as they feel comfortable with. Not all models will have recorded private chat archives. Not all models will post journal enteries. It just depends on the model. Make sure you thoroughly review the fan club preview page of your favorite model before joining.

6. Show me a screen shot of what one looks like dammit!

Soooo, if ya are really into one of our models here…you may want to see if he has a fan club up. More guys are adding some shortly so keep checking back! Also try encouraging some of the guys to add them if they don’t have one up.
