Cam Guys Blog – Get to know our cam guys

So halo 3 has been out for a month now…. halo what?  Well if you haven’t heard about halo 3 you must be living under a rock.  It is the biggest title in video game history and is for xbox 360.  Its a first person shooter if you guys are even into video games anymore.  It is so addicting, I play online all the time and am currently a level 41 lol out of a 50….  Anyways the shit is sooooooo addicting.  There is a tournament going in Dallas sometime this winter and first place gets $1,000,000  Thats right a MILL!!!  I was thinking about going and trying to win, who knows it might be fun…  If you guys wanna get back into the gaming world, or already are gamers and dont have halo 3…… GET IT.. it’s a must!  well CYA ONLINE!@!@

  Guyswithcams…its been around for years now, but its time for an upgrade.  Members have been waiting and camwithhim is finally about to become a reality. 

Though the site has seen camguys and members come and go, its retained pretty much the same look and feel since its inception, thats all going to change.  Snrproductions has grown and expanded, its time for gwc to adapt.  First off is the name change, to camwithhim.  Steve launched a girls site, which was a rousing success, and for the update he decided to rechristen guyswithcams as camwithhim.   This creates a brand imprint to promote and market.   It’s not just a name change though, its much more, starting with an updated look.  Concerning the visual look of the site, Steve hints it looks like the forums, being more current and streamlined.  He adds, “The look is way cool if I must say so myself.”

Looks and name aside, what is in store for website?  The site retains the focus on the camguys with a shift toward more high quality content.  Some of the upgrades are oriented toward the member experience, making it more fun and friendly.  Steve is using new content software which is a HUGE upgrade and makes a lot of the member content dynamic on the site.  “You’ll see what I mean when it opens.” was his promise. 

Sounds like a big undertaking and it is…thats been part of the delay.  Its taking the programmers time to develope and implement all the new additions.  Steve has decided to go ahead with the work he could do himself in the meantime.   With the launch, there will be new features that werent on guyswithcams, plus improvements in some of the established content.    More features will be added as they are finished by the software guys.  So, when the site debuts, its going to be a leap forward, with more to come.

General, Site Updates

Back in august, some of the camwithhim men had a photo shoot in Los Angeles.  Originally five guys were scheduled to participate, but only three actually made it to L.A.  A death in the family kept Tyler from attending and Armin was unable to show due to unforseen travel difficulties.  Both guys should be featured in future trips.  Thankfully, Derek, Carson, and BT made the shoot and a bunch of new material was generated for the site.  Though Steve has done most of the photography for guyswithcams in the past, this time he employed Adam Bouska to do some of the photographic work.  Adam is a cutting edge photographer in California that Steve has been wanting to work with for a while now.  The shoot went extremely well and everyone was very pleased with the results…site members will be too.

 This was the first modeling shoot for the three guys.  Derek was expecting lights and people everywhere, and was surprised it was just Adam and his camera.  When you are a photographer of Adams caliber shooting models that look this incredible, you dont need much else I guess.  Derek said, ”no makeup needed”,  so remember this is just how gorgeous these guys look all the time.  Carson was more laid back about the experience, saying it “kind what I expected”, he did find it was hard work though.  Both guys raved about Adams work and the resulting product.  According to Derek,  ”He is a very talented photographer and a great guy to be around”.  Carson was also pleased with the photos and thought seeing them was cool, he was critical of himself, wishing he looked better.  The pictures I’ve seen were stunning, I think all the guys looked amazing.  Carson and Derek are both looking forward to the chance to do more modeling in the future.  Steve appears in some of the video and also did some of the photography that will be seen on the site. 

 As far as the trip goes, the guys all had a blast.  Although Carson was nonchalant about the shoot, he was definitely nervous about meeting the other fellows, “ because i had no idea who was going and what to expect.”  He followed up that comment by stating “We had a good time getting to know each other, it was cool to be able to talk to someone who also  works on the site.”  Some of Carsons friends on the coast took him and Bt out, the highlight of which was skatingboarding drunk on muscle beach at 3 a.m. and seeing the gym where Schwarzenegger trained.  I hope the skateboarding made it to video…but doubt it.  Im not sure what Derek and Steve were doing that night, but did hear that Derek beat Steve at armwrestling.    And while BT couldnt participate in this article, rumour has it that if he talks to you for more than 30 seconds you are bound to hear something hilarious.  
   

Steve stresses that people be patient for the media from the L.A. trip to be introduced on the site, but it is coming.  And the guys love the site and the members.  Derek couldnt be happier with the  members or imagine a better group of people to spend an hour with chatting.  Carson raves, “I love the site  and all the members i have met so far, the admin are great and always do their best, and the members have respect and really know how to make a guy feel good and that only motivates me to do a better job.”  I’ve found both guys to wonderful additions to the site.  In chat, they are fun and friendly…some of the best attitudes and smiles around (not to mention bodies)…and they were both open and helpful in preparing this blog entry for everyone.  I know they are both terrific men and cant wait for more from them, plus the site debut of Bt.
