Well the weekend before last I was a busy boy. I mainly spent my time doing 2 activities this weekend.
The 1st was a horse competition that my friend Crystal came up from Cincinnati to compete in, that was about 10 minutes away from my place. I went to the park on Friday to see her and learn all about the sport. I have ridden horses before but nothing like this. Saturday was the start of the competition and of course I took my camcorder so I could get her ridding in action and I could take some picture of her and her horse Miss Amerakiss. She really didn’t like this, but then again she didn’t have much of a choice, haha. She first competed in dressage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dressage). Even though she thought she did terrible, I couldn’t tell what the heck was going on since I didn’t know anything about it. The 2nd thing she competed in was stadium jumping (http://www.rightlead.com/Educational/stadium_jumpers.htm). Everyone should be more familiar with this. A few pictures of her and her horse jumping are posted below. She and her horse did very well and they cleared all the jumps. The last event was held on Sunday, which I didn’t get a chance to see since I was doing the 2nd of my activities; it was the cross-country event (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-country_equestrianism). This was what Crystal had told me to see but of course I didn’t get a chance too, so I missed out.

The 2nd activity I did this weekend was autocross racing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autocross). I had a race Saturday night and then one again Sunday. This was my 2nd and 3rd races I have competed in. Overall I didn’t do too badly. I didn’t win, but I’m still pretty much a rookie to the sport. I improved from my 1st race so I guess you can say I’m getting better. I don’t know what else to say about this other then it was a fun time but hot as hell. The race on Saturday night was different since it was under the lights. I took video with my camcorder mounted from my front windshield, so maybe I’ll post a video or two up so you can see how I did.
